Having previously worked with Arden Academy on a number of occasions, carrying out refurbishment works and the upgrade of non fire rated doors to fire rated doors. DP was invited to tender for the reconfiguration of their school youth centre into modern teaching facilities.
Offering our extensive refurbishment experience, we were able to offer design knowledge alongside value engineering services to ensure Arden were receiving the best value their budget could offer.
Awarded the full fit out contract by Arden as principal contractor, the full fit out works consisted of upgrading external windows to a double glazed system to reduce the buildings energy consumption. Upgrade off mechanical and electrical services to ensure all classrooms were sufficiently supported with the correct amount of heating and electrical outputs, suspended ceiling, dry lining, carpentry, flooring, furnishings and decoration works producing the high quality teaching facilities required.
Understanding our client’s requirements, the works were carried out during term time, completed to budget and within a tight timescale. Working with our client, we ensured the works and associated material deliveries caused as little impact to the school as possible whilst making sure all staff and pupils were safe at all times.
